This morning we just decided to hang out at the guest home and get settled and unpacked in lieu of going shopping. After naptime, the van came to get us to take us back to see Hux. We spread out a blanket on the grass and just enjoyed each other's company. Sakari had fun playing with the older kids at the home and of course, helping with her little brother. She even helped give him his bottle! These kids are loved and very well cared for by the staff and nannies. There's even a resident doctor and nurse on hand. We bonded even deeper with our son on this visit and again, he fell asleep in our arms. When you look into this kids eyes, you can tell there is a depth in him and the doctor told us that he is very strong and will take over the world. We're ok with that! We have noticed that he loves for us to walk with him, he is very observant and loves plants and flowers.
Next, we headed back to the guest home for naptime number two – we had a late dinner planned at a cultural restaurant with traditional food and dancing. All of us had a wonderful time and true to form, Sakari was drawn to the music and dancing. She ended up on the stage enthralled with the singing, music and dancing. She caught on pretty quick and was even brought up on stage again when they saw how passionate she was!
All in all, another great day! Tired…ready for some sleep!
